Our sweet 3-year-old black lab came to us from a Hurricane Katrina rescue organization. She had been caught in a barbed wire fence and her poor little ear had been ripped to shreds. Thankfully, she recovered but was having extreme problems with ear infections from allergies and from having scarred ears. We were beside ourselves trying to figure out how to control her ear infections, and also just to get her healthy again in general. Then we found your food.

The unusual proteins and good, wholesome ingredients have cleared up her ears so that now she gets an infection rarely. Before it was literally constant! She also has the shiniest coat you could imagine. She's like a snuggly mirror! People always comment on her gorgeous soft pelt, her sparkling teeth, and her shiny bright eyes. As if that weren't enough, she goes nuts when it's meal time... her FAVORITE thing in the world is your Elk-based food. " Hey Timberwolf People!

I couldn't figure out where to send my pics, so I chose this--I already emailed you with questions about my order--this one is simply to send you pics of my gorgeous dog who LOVES your food. Of course, Shania is, I swear, part wolf, instead of the white german shepard they told me I was getting when I rescued her. She had gpne from 60 to 120 LBs, had heartworm, roundworns, crappy coat, serious digestive problems, complete with psychological problems (severe fear-based dog aggression PLUS a high prey drive) and had become completely unsocialized.

In any case,all of my dogs have been rescues--one was 15/16 Arctic Wolf mixed with white Shepard--I try to channel him and ask him to come help Shania learn to get along with other dogs, and I think it's helping. Main thing is--all of my dogs have needed special diets because they were mistreated rescues. I've spent 12 years cooking every day for 2 of my dogs, then when they died, I got Shania and found you guys, which was miraculous because she wouldn't eat anything else and couldn't tolerate the diets I'd worked out for my other dogs. She can't handle Quinoa, which was the mainstay of my other dogs' diets.

Anyhow, she LOVES your food, but only tests positive for the Elk and the Bison right now, so that's what I've ordered, and some samples for other friends that I'm trying to convince to buy your food, because it results in happier dogs and less vet visits, and less problems.

Sorry so long, some pics of a VERY HAPPY TIMBERWOLF dog attached. Wish I'd had your food for my others--I know it would have helped them and saved me a LOT of work. Shania also loves broccoli stems, cabbage. apples, pears, you name it--treats for her are all of those things and your food---even for training!!!

Than another black one i will send you her pic, is 5 months old and has been on Timberwolf all her life. razzle was my picky eater, but she really likes timberwolf so we stuck with it and now all the dogs love it!! we have tried most of the high protein brands, cause two are still puppies, I just put in a new order for lamb and apples, ocean blue and wild and natural plus the salmon oil is good for there coats. " I had researched dog food for months before purchasing our puppy. We started our first Great Dane, Rueger, on a Large/Giant Breed Puppy formula that was recommended for Danes. I was looking at the ingredient list one day and realized that I had some questions about some of the ingredients. So we then switched to that brand's Holistic version. Rueger didn't really seem to like that food as well. Plus he started to lose some of the hair on his back. The vet said that he had an infection, but I thought that it could be an allergy.

So we switched to TW. We got the free sample packs and Rueger loved them all. He would lick his bowl clean. We love having the different varieties to choose from so that we can get the correct protein/fat ratios and Rueger doesn't get bored eating the same thing over and over again. Plus, his coat is on the way to recovery. He's getting so shiny!

We just bought another pup, Rajah, and her breeder had her on Nature's Variety. She's a growing pup, so she ate what was in her bowl. As we were slowing switching her over to TW, she would sneak over to Rueger's raised bowl and jump up and eat his food. Of course, he didn't like that. So he would start eating and get food stuck in his big cheeks, he'd shake his head and it would fall to the floor. (I think he did this on purpose...) Rajah would abandon her full bowl of food to run over and eat the TW pieces that fell on the floor. I don't have to worry about spilling any dog food, I've got a three week old vacuum that eats any piece that comes out! (Or any that she can get in to!)

We love what you offer your customers and we will never have to search for dog food again. We just bought some of your new Pheasant and Herbs formula and I know that the pups will love it. Thank you!! "

"I just wanted to let you know how much my dogs are in love with your food and how great they look. My older dog which is now 11, has always been a picky eater. With other food, he would just sit and stare at it and barely eat. After I started feeding him Timberwolf, he starts bugging me with his food bowl an hour or two before feeding time, then he scarfs it down in minutes! No one ever believes he is 11 years old. Everyone thinks he is a puppy. My mom switched their cat from Purina to Timberwolf and when I saw the cat again in 2 weeks, I almost didn't believe it was the same cat. She had the softest, silkiest fur, had almost stopped shedding, finally put on weight, and her litterbox no longer had any smell coming from it! After 2 weeks! My mom can't stop raving about your food. Even my grandma's cat will eat it, and he's the pickiest eater ever.

" Dear Timberwolf,

I am writing to you today to share a testimonial with you. I have a 2 year old Alaskan Malamute and during the first year of his life he was very healthy. When he turned 1 we changed his dog food from puppy to adult. That is when he began to have problems. He suffered from a chronic bowel condition that would show itself intermittently but would never stick around long enough for any real concern. So we eventually switched his food again and he seemed to be doing fine. A few months went by and he became very sick and it was only when he was on medication that he seem to get better. This went on for months. He finally got so sick that the vet decided he had SIBO and that he was going to have this condition the rest of his life.

After researching the condition SIBO I discovered that the first part of treatment was to change the dog's diet to a grain free food and even though they won't be cured the animal will improve greatly. So I began researching dog food company's with grain free products. I found a web site called the Dog Food Project where they examine the most popular dog food companies that offer grain free products and analyze the good and bad points of each product so the consumer can make an informed decision.

When I read about your product I was very impressed with the ingredients and that you incorporated probiotics in your food, in addition to an array of natural and organic ingredients. After discussing your company with my vet we decided to try Ocean Blue.

Zekie (male Malamute) was only on your product 24 hours when his condition cleared up immediately. His intestinal distress and "issues" were gone. It is now almost 2 months later and his bowel tract has returned to normal. He is now functioning like a normal dog should and goes to the bathroom on a regular schedule. We even put our 6 month old on the product as well and couldn't be happier.

I now believe Zekie never had SIBO but did have a very serious form of irritable bowel due to dog food that didn't agree with his system.

We have been trying to find a decent food for our large breed Neapolitan Mastiff puppy Roxy. We have tried so many of the high end foods, but she continued to have constant diarrhea, it got so bad that she was shedding all of the time, lost 10 pounds as she refused to eat, became sick and lethargic, and had a very runny eye that was treated unsuccessfully as an eye infection. I can't tell you how stressful it was to try food after food with no improvement. We were waking up all hours of the night to take her outside because of diarrhea. During the day she would just lay on the sofa, and even lost interest in going for walks and playing with her toys. Her coat had become dull, and was filled with dander. We were taking her to the vet every 2 weeks because she seemed to be getting worse, and we could not determine the source of her food allergies.

With the Vet unable to offer much help, we went to a different pet food store and they recommended Timberwolf. We brought home a sample of "Timberwolf Organics Elk" and Roxy gobbled it up! "I would like to give you a small testimonial about Timberwolf foods. I have a 5 month old Lab puppy who has eaten Timberwolf since he came to live with me at 8 weeks old. He was doing well. Because Timberwolf is expensive, I tried to use it in conjunction with Nature's Variety Prairie and California Naturals to save a bit of money. After 2 days or so, I noticed my dog licking his feet and there was a rash on his belly. I began to treat him with Benadryl thinking it had nothing to do with food but very soon, I realized it was all about his food because I had removed all other possibilities. This little male suffered for almost 2 weeks before I realized it was the rice in both formulas that caused him this distress. I took him off every other food but Timberwolf and within a day and a half, he quit licking and biting his feet and the rash went away completely. "I had to take a moment to tell you how much and why we love Timberwolf. I just bought my second bag for my Jack Russell Terrier - Sophie and Corgi - Nellie, because I can't imagine ever serving them anything else. I found Timberwolf by searching chat rooms to solve my problem. Sophie and Nellie and 7 and 5 and the shedding had become so bad, I considered buying them their own house. I thought that it was normal to replace your vacuum cleaner every 2 years! But I read from dog lovers that poor diet can cause excessive shedding. Among many recommendations in the chat room, Timberwolf was mentioned. Before Timberwolf, I had to vacuum (my living room) 3 times per week, each time filling the entire vacuum canister. After one week of Timberwolf, I vacuumed once and filled half a canister! After several weeks, I am only vacuuming once and filling half a canister for the entire house! Amazing. Both girls have lost weight (much needed) and have healthy coats. We have our house back and can now peacefully coexist with our daughters without all of the hair. " I started Bianca on Timberwolf when she showed up with skin allergies as a puppy; thanks to your food, they quickly disappeared. Bianca is a rescue, who is probably a McNab collie, mixed with white German Shepherd. She's gorgeous and is possibly the most photographed dog, since mom is a pro photographer. The other dog in the photos is a rescue from New Orleans that I brought back when I was there helping. He had a crushed hip, but thanks to my vet (who did his surgery for free) he is now thriving. He also eats Timberwolf! "

" Both of my Search And Rescue Dogs are fed Timberwolf Organics. Corzo, my Portuguese Water Dog, is a Disaster Search Dog and had problems with allergies to most every food we tried. Since switching to Ocean Blue, he has stopped scratching and his coat and energy are great!

Bartl, my Rottweiler had a 4 x 4 area on his back that was shaved for a procedure after an injury. 6 months later it still had not even started to grow back. " Hello, I just wanted to let you know that we love your food. Our dog Sylar went to the vet not to long ago and we were told that he was consitpated. The vet told us to give him chicken and rice. Now for a few weeks before this he had had some spots on him but we thought that they were cat scratches. After eating the chicken and rice for a few days the spots looked AWEFUL!!!!
They were cracked and bleeding and just looked hideous. We took him to the pet store and a woman who worked there knew right away what it was. She asked what our dog had been eating and we told her. She said right away that he had to be allergic to the chicken, and she was right. We had to get rid of his reguar food, all of his snacks and anything else we may have had.
She told us to try your food and within a few days his coat and skin looked sooooooo much better. Not to mention the fact that he was much more active and healthy.

" I switched to Timber Wolf products for my animals in March of 2007. The pet food recall was the number one reason for the switch. I was not feeding any of the food on the list, but I was feeding foods from the companies that were involved in the recall. I was upset to think that the premium pet foods that I had been buying was being farmed out to other places to make the food. I thought that the well known companies controlled the ingredients and recipes. I was not aware that China was involved in any way. I was a complacent consumer that trusted the pet foods were as advertised. I found your products researching the web. The descriptions of the foods and ingredients for special conditions in some animals made it extremely easy to figure out what type of food was needed. I feed my 11 and 13 year old mixed breed dogs, Nutrient Dense Lamb Barley and Apple. I give my 3 mixed breed cats the Serengeti. I did not have to mix the new food with the old food. I put it down and it was eaten immediately, by both the cats and the dogs. Their coats and skin are amazing. No more dry skin or bad ears. I think the older animals have more energy and are more socialable because they feel better. I am so glad that you do what you do. It seems such a simple idea to go back to nature. I wonder why it has not been done before. I am also sending pictures of my animals. "

"These are my 2 little longhaired Russian Toy Terriers. I had them shipped from Moscow Russia when they were 3 months. I went to a pet store here and ask for the best dog food for them and was told of Timberwolf wild and natural. I have always used it and just want to show you how shiny their fur is and just how heathy they are. I'm very pleased with using it now for almost a year and get compliments on their shiny fur. I have only bathed them 2 times, once the first day they arrived and once about a week ago, just to let you that the pictures were taken about a month ago, that is NOT shampoo shine! :) Thank you very much!"
